Careful on the make of head
My 2002 356 came with a Jabsco manual head. I had the dealer install an electric conversion kit, which Norton Yacht Sales in Deltaville did. They did a good job and it worked very well for about a year and a half. But it is so noisy that it wakes the dead when it is operated, and requires a yearly overhaul as it develops frequent leaks. I have heard complaints from other Jabsco owners, as it appears that the entire Jabsco head line is lower quality and higher noise than others, even though the designs have changed since 2002.
So be careful and I recommend you NOT buy any Jabsco head. I have heard good reports on the Raritan Sea Era, and Peggy, the "Head Mistress" recommends them over all others. Just remember that you have to have adequately sized wiring as many draw 25-35 amps peak, and hoses with a loop and vacuum break in your installation.
Suggest you check with Peggy on this site to see her latest recommendations, just in case she has changed her mind.
