Hunter 36 2007 Spin

looking hard at a 2007 36 this weekend. Selden furling mast. Does anyone know if this mast has or can have added a spin halyard?

Yes, it was an option to add the spinnaker halyard or it can be added if not there. The mast is set up for spin halyard

The Hunter manual shows the layout for a Asymmetrical spinnaker on page 54. ( see attached)

Sail makers have the design for an asymmetrical spinnaker.

Logic would indicate that the mast can or does have the function to support an asymmetrical spinnaker. You may have to install the rigging if not there on the mast.

Be surprised if it did not as my 2004 Hunter 386 / 2005 Hunter 46 Selden masts had / have one.

glad to report that our new-to-us 2008 Hunter 36 does indeed have asym spin rigging, it's on the list for Xmas.
