I own a '97 340 and have an arch where the traveler lines are on top of the arch and "hang down". The newer models have them lead through the arch to a lower point. Any way to re-lead the present arch, and if not, how much for the updated version?
No channel no channels exist inside the old arch to make it work. Cheapest solution would be to lead them down outside..someway. You can call Hunter to price a new one. JB
I have a 1998 340. My dealer, Whitney Marine, lead the traveler lines down the outside of the arch using an eye style guide and jam cleats. It works great.
Don, thanks for the info on leading the traveler lines down the arch with "eyes" and jam cleats. How were they attached into the arch i.e. with backing plates? Capt. Mike
