I want to order a folding propeller in next few days without taking my Hunter 34 out of the water.
Hopefully get it hauled and fitted before the end of the season.

Does anyone know prop size, pitch and shaft mounting data ?

Also which prop would you recommend ?

Roy, I did mine a couple of years ago.. My prop is 15" X 15" Right Hand. Standard taper.. Keyway is 1/4" Shaft size is 1".. My transmission is a Kanzaki KM 3 A; ratio is 2.63:1.. Some 34's had different engines and transmission ratios, which would affect the prop pitch.

Have you settled on a folding prop vs a feathering one? If you would consider a feather prop, I would recommend that you look at a Kiwi. They are handled by the sample folks that market the Campbell Sailor Prop.

Oh.. my prop is a Michigan Wheel, Sailer.. two blade.
Have lusted after the three bladed feathering ones but I haven't decided to spend the dollars yet

Just saw the posting. I have a folding prop on my 83 H34. will get the brand and size etc this weekend. all info on the boat.
works fine for me. caution is reverse is not the best on this prop. Not designed to be.
what is your email again. need to ask about the dodger. I think we had a conversation on this a while ago but no info from the designer?
