Hunter 34 pierced galley sink

Upon commissioning my water system yesterday I discovered that the galley sink (double) was leaking through 4 miniscule holes at the bottom starboard rear corner of the starboard side sink. Boat is now 37 years old and I have to assume that the stainless has finally corroded away. Outside dimensions are 25'' X 17''. Tubs dimensions are 10'' X 14'' with a depth of 10''. Most of the regular sinks seen on the net are too long or too wide to fit the tiny galley counter. Has anyone had that problem and found an easy replacement ?

Check RV and camper supply stores. They specialize in small compact stuff. For example, I typed in "10 X 14 RV galley sink" into that google thing and found this one

Good idea. There is also some non-toxic kind of epoxy sealant that is specifically for drinking water - safe application that may work.
I've had some not so great experiences with JB Weld and would recommend DEVCON if you go this route. I got DEVCON in mid-sized tubes for all of $14 a year or so ago.

Watch drain dimensions on sinks. Household ones have a hole large enough for a disposal installation. You probably just want a hose fitting there.

Good point!!............that is why a fit-for-service marine kitchen sink OR rv sink will only work in this application because neither have a garbage disposal attached.

That came to mind during a TV commercial this morning. In addition, has anyone used a Flex-Seal product for boating purposes? Satisfied - or not?

I have used it on the roof of my shed with okay (meh) results. Held up for two summers. I’d consider flex as a stop gap fix

Thanks to all who offered suggestions. For now, because the season is about to start, I have been lucky enough to find a real good stainless welder who has been able to patch the holes, fixing the leak problem. If even instructed me on how to get rid of the bluish discoloration around the welding spots, which I did successfully this morning. Testing revealed no leaks ! Yesss! That will do for now! Of course he did confirm that the 37-year old sink (formed out of 20-gauge 304 SS) might develop some more leaks in time, and warned me not to break ice with a pick in it anymore (there has been times when I got careless and did it). I have kept the coordinates of Vollrath as they do have the exact matching sink and will eventually order one. Thanks again.
