I have a Hunter 34 and need to upgrade a dead depth gauge and transducer. Any suggestions on what works best on the H34?

I have been using Raymarine ST-60 for several years now and have been happy. Not sure I understand your question as depth gauges and transducers are not made for any particular brand of boat or model. If you want to install your new unit at the same place as what you have now, getting one of the same diameter would probably be the least trouble. Good luck.
The Hunter 34 is particularly well suited for the Raymarine ST-60 system. If it were a Catalina I would definitely go with B&G. J-Boat - Garmin.
