Hunter 336 Fuel Tank Questions

I need to replace the fuel pickup fitting and tube on a 1995 Hunter 336. Does anyone know:

1. The depth of the tank under the pickup port (I know... I'd measure the old one had it not fallen into the tank)?
2. The threading of the pickup port (NPT, etc.)?

Drop string with weight to get length or a stick make pickup 1" shorter. Take fitting what ya got left to Parker or any commercial hose store or even Napa or hardware store
