Hunter 33 Hour Meter

I am looking for some information about the hour meter on my 2005 Hunter 33. It has all of a sudden stopped working. The Tachometer still works etc., just the hour meter is blank. Has anyone else had this problem? I am wondering whether the hours are still being counted, and what the best fix for this would be, other than buying a whole new unit. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Happens to most of us with the B panel. There are multiple threads on this site mostly about cleaning the contacts on the back of the tach. Works marginally for a while.

You can always add a separate Hour Meter. I drilled a hole and added one with a 2" round dial.

Save yourself hours of endless grief and bite the bullet. They're cheap and easy to install. I'd also venture to say the VDO will outlast the original.
