Hunter 33 genoa track leak

I'm chasing down a slow leak on my 2006 Hunter 33 which seems to be originating midship port side. I want to check my lower genoa track to see if that is where the rainwater is getting in from but can't find much information on removing it. I believe it is bolted into place but there is no easy access on the inside. I have read somewhere that the bolts fasten to a steel backer embedded into the deck which has threaded holes to receive the bolts but I can't confirm this.
Has anyone on this forum removed and reset their genoa tracks on a 33 hunter and if so can you confirm that the access is all via the deck?
thanks in advance

There's an access panel in the head just above the mirror. Remove that and will most likely see underside of bolts. Starboard side would have to remove the panel that the teak grab rail is attached above the galley cabinets.
