Hunter 33 cabin blinds

Hi everyone...just bought a 2005 Hunter 33. Quick question....the main cabin has rather nice fabric blinds that are concertinaed and held close to the windows with a snap type fixing. My problem is that I can't secure them in the up position-there's a small tab in the coach roof which looks like it should loop under the blinds and attach to the male screw next to it....for love nor money I can't get the tab to fix to this...would love to hear from anyone out there who has these and a solution!...given the way they're mounted they appear to be factory fitted....

My 2011 had straps that snapped in place to hold them up.

Yep, look for the straps above the blinds. The snap on the blinds only snap below the windows.

I have a 2006 with the same type of blinds, there is a snap way up high above the port light.
