Hunter 33.5 Spinnaker

Has anyone rigged a new spinnaker halyard for a Hunter 33.5. My current Halyard comes out of the mast just below the forestay. I have a larger spinnaker desingned for a full rig 34 and I would like to have a halyard at the top of the mast. I haven't been to the top of the mast yet and the manual provides little detail as to what is at the mast head now, so I am not sure if it is even possible. Anyone done this?

Check with Selden

I would suggest that you check with Selden before you rig a mast head halyard for the spinnaker. It came up in a discussion I had with them on the 320 mast, and they said the rig would not take the strain that high up. They are very willing to talk about their gear, and very helpful. If it isn't a problem, I'm sure they can tell you how to do it.Steve
