I purchased a 2003 model Hunter 326 in late 2007. The tank monitor gives good indications of the levels of the water and holding tanks but the fuel indicator always reads full. I seem to recall finding some documentation that said there may not be a probe in the tank to transmit fuel level readings to the monitor for the 326 model. Does anyone have any experience with this?

interesting..also have 2003 326 and, while waste and H20 records accurate levels, the fuel always says low.....when I first bought boat, in 2007, it did work though....tank got to 50% after another 12 months - I then topped it off and reset the indicator but it never read accurately again...so, given your case and mine with same year 326 - I believe there is a probe in tank but perhaps it needs repacement in both our boats?
Years ago I removed and stored the center panel in the aft cabin so I have easy access with a flashlight to the fuel tank and waste tank. Peace of mind.

My 02 Hunter 326 does the same thing (fuel on the tank guage at nav station always reads "Full"). A knowledgable friend told me that they didn't put a probe in for the tank guages because I have a fuel guage mounted by the factory on the helm. Otherise it would be a redundant system for reading the fuel level. Don't know whether it's true but the guage on the helm is always accurate while the one on the tank guage below consistent reads full. Until somebody can convince me otherwise, I'm assuming my friend is right.
