I am considering purchasing either a 2001 Hunter 320 for $70.5k or 2002 Hunter 326 for $90.0k to pleasure cruise around the lake. Both are comparably equipped and in like-new shape. As best I can tell from the specfications the only difference is that the 326 is 4 inches longer and 200 lbs. lighter and one year younger. Doesn't seem worth the extra $19.5k or even $10k? Can any owners give me an opinion on whether I am missing something? Also, $70.5 seems like a great price for a loaded 320...any opinions? Thanks!

Model changes

Here are some to the noted changes that I have "heard". Now you have to decide if they are worth the difference. 1. Rubrail. The 326 has a new and improved headrail that is more tolerent to mold and grime. 2. Headliner. The 326 has a better? headliner-as to the difference I'm not sure. 3. Locker latches. Haven't seen but was told that the 326 has upgraded latches on lockers and engine covers.

326

There are many changes (improvements) in the 326 from the 320. We are in the second summer of owning our 326 and do not have any doubt that we made the right decision to purchase a 326 over a 320. The previous post listed some of the changes, the overall the fit and finish is the same as all the new ..6 designs, a much needed improvement to both the interior & exterior of the boat. I do believe the sailing performance is quite similar, but since we are primarily cruisers, we are very pleased with the functionality of the boat. We are extremely happy with the 326!
