Hunter 310 opinions

Hi all

I am considering buying a 1997 H 310 and would be interested in current owners opinions. We are on an inland lake so this is primarily for day sailing and the odd weekend. Anything we should look out for?

Also, I see that the later hunter 310's have a stainless steel arch in place of the fibreglass ones. Does anyone know if these are interchangeable.

We also have the FG arch and I would certainly like to replace with a SS arch for numerous reasons. Haven't heard of a SS replacement yet but would certainly like to hear if anyone has managed to overcome.

It is completely different for sure and because of the fiberglass
can't exchange with out $$$$$$.
A new SS arch first off would be $$$$$ and removing and and fiberglass
over a lot of work $$$$$.
I would buy a Hunter that already has the SS arch instead but I know friend
who has a 42 CC with a fiberglass arch and he loves it and never here any bad things about it and is always adding $$$$ into up grading to electric winches
and many other things to help make sailing easy as he gets older and keep for long time and he does go to Bahama's every year for 2 months so I think it is not a problem.
