I am a new user on the Hunter forum. It is a great spot for getting information!
I just ripped out the carpet hull liner in my v berth. Unlike some folks I have read about, mine did not have foam backing, the carpet was glued directly to the hull. I now have a semi fuzzy hull liner from all of the fibers left behind when I pulled the carpet out. So any ideas how to get the fuzzy stuff off so I can glue something new in place? I have tried sanding with an electric sander...not so effective, I have tried scraping with a putty knife, and wiping liberally with Interlux 333 brushing liquid. (Left over from last year's project of painting the topside.)
Also, has any one replaced the carpet in the v berth and what material did you use? Thanks for your help.
