Just a quick update. "Champagne on Ice" went back in the water yesterday and we motored from Little Creek to her new home at the Norfolk Naval Base Marina -- brand new floating concrete docks with full length fingers. Again, thanks to all for your good advice. Couldn't have done it without you.

You are a lucky man. Up here on Lake Erie the name of your boat would be very appropriate. Went up to see "Ladylove" on Saturday and the ducks were having a hard time(pun). But my boat is 100 yards from water.
