When you ascend the mast to take a look at the situation, bring a small piece of sandpaper with you. I've had my 1984 h31 for 7 years now, and every time I think the bulb is burnt out, I've gone up to have a look, and lightly sanding the metal base of the bulb has fixed the problem every time...Make sure you have someone else with you, 1. to get you up the mast safely, and 2. to try turning the light on and off for you to test, and if all else fails, 3. to write down what kind of bulb you need (or of course, you can bring it down with you).Shambie
