I am a new owner of a 1984 Hunter 31, . There is a lot of water collected in the bilge under the galley sink. It should drain into the main bilge. There is cabinetry in the way so I cannot tell if the drain hole is clogged. I can't even see if there is a drain hole. I did notice a drain hole that is plugged in the bottom of the main bilge. Please see the attached photo for the position. The photo is not of my boat. Thanks to whoever I burrowed it from. The whole is threaded and there seems to be a plastic plug inserted about 1" inside the hole. I was concerned about breaking it out. I did see a drain plug on the outside of the keel when the boat was surveyed. I think that is below the drain hole that is in the bilge but I am not sure. The boat is winterized in the water. Can anyone identify from the photo what this drain is? Is it the drain for the area under the galley sink. Why would so much water collect there? I pumped out about 5 gallons of water.ThanksSteve
