I am looking to purchase a 2004 Hunter 306. It appears it has a permanent interior table that can go down but not be fully removed. Has anyone ever tried to find a solution to this as if the table could be removed, it would allow for a larger interior space. Love the boat but hate that the table cannot be folded up or removed if desired. Thanks!

It can definitely be removed. It just depends on if you want to keep it in one piece. 
The table is held up with a giant clevis pin through the mast support post. I've considered drilling a new set of holes through the mast support post so that the table could be raised up and left up but still be usable when needed. I've also considered simply trimming some area off the table to at least reduce the footprint.

Thanks for your reply ‘J’. Since you can’t fold the Hunter 306 interior table up (like some Catalinas), do you find the Hunter 306 comfortable for two for multi night cruises?
Two people for a couple nights? No problem. But it definitely helps to be on the cozy side with your companion.
