Can anyone please explain to a new Hunter 30 owner just how to convert the salon table into the double berth! Thanks.

My H30 looks like there was a board that stows under the setee cushion that slides out and rests on the hinged support and a brace on the bulkhead. If this is the correct configuration, the board is missing and will need to be replaced. The table folds up against the bulkhead. If anyone can verify that this is correct, please let us know. If anyone has dimensions of this board I would like them so I can build one for my boat.

2 Styles...

there were 2 styles of interiors, 1 where the table folds up against the bulkhead, the other where the table comes up and is stowed. I have the later and in this configuration the dinette is "L" shaped. In mine there is a board that slides out from the settee as described in the other reply and supported by a hinged support attached to the bulkhead.

Port double berth

It looks like I also have the later - the table does not fold up , just comes off and the two metal legs then are taken out. Of course, there does not appear to be a board which is why I was confused. If anyone knows how to get a replacement please let me know.
