Hunter 30 bilge pump

I have a 1981 Hunter 30. Has anyone put a manual bilge pump on their's? I'd a large hose (1.5") run from the bilge to a pump somewhere near the helm (pump while steering.)Problem: How to run the hose. There doesn't appear to be a clear path from the bilge to anywhere in the stern. Anyone done anything clever?

This spring I was looking at older Hunter 30's and eventually bought a '77.I did see a 1979 or '80 that had a manual bilge pump installed under the port cockpit seat. I'm not sure how the hose was run, but I would think you can run it through from under the prop shaft, since any packing drip drains that way into the bilge.Let me know what you end up doing.Karl Berntson
