Just wanted to know what the differences were. I know that the cabin trunk is higher at the leading part of the cabin ... what else is different and are they significant. Any help in this area appreciated.

Finishes

In addition to the increased cabin height of a 30T, the inside finishes are a little nicer in a 30T - doors instead of sliders, etc.

Same Hull, lots of differences

I own a 30 "T" - a good friend of mine at the same marina owns a 30 "G". We've learned that there are many differences. Here's a run down * Headroom in the v-berth * Upgraded cabinet doors * Square sinks as opposed to the round * Extra hatches * Extra ports (three in aft cabin compared to one for the "G" * Aft lockers are larger and protrude more * Inside lockers have floors * Different holding and waste tanks * I think the rig is higher and the boom is higher (not quite sure about this one) * Locker in the head that the "G" does not have * Stowage on top of the engine compartment * Shallow locker on port cockpit * Lockers port and starboard in cockpit have very different lids * Different table system * Different doors to forward cabin and head * Various other changes It is interesting to note that the 30 "G" owner and I have done many similar projects and have to measure our boats separately because of the many differences. For example, we both made custom companionway doors - the dimensions are different to a significant extent. I can detail many other changes if you want more information. Mike "Sea Sharp"
