Hunter 30-2 engine instruments?

About to pull the trigger on an 88 30-2. It's got the original yanmar which seems to be a good shape and has pretty low hours but it's got that panel that just has the tachometer and a couple of dummy lights. I'd really, really like a temp dial...my last boat had overheating problems, so I'm paranoid about em.

Anyone know of a source for an upgraded panel?

You might have to DIY a temp gauge and mount it where convenient to read.
or you could buy something like this and replace your old panel…

Thanks for the link. That's a buncha dollars for what seems like some pretty simple stuff - DIY it is.

I am adding a fuel gauge and hours meter to mine, and I am planning to mount them on the cockpit coming, above the existing engine panel (which sits so low in the cockpit that I cannot read the tach).

i thought about mining the whole panel up, but that requires a really big hole cut in the coaming…
