Pete, I considering buying a 290, and looked it over pretty thoroughly. My first reaction would be that there is no way you're going to get one of those 290s on any trailer short of something pulled by a semi. It is huge, probably over 12 feet tall with the mast down. If you find a picture, though, I'd like to see it! Dave...

Pulling Hunter keel boats

You can pull at least up to a Hunter 320 with a one ton truck on an ajustable stantion trailer. Thats what the dealers do. The width requires permits, etc. and it takes a great (read steep and long) ramp to trailer launch a 290. Joe C. in NC
