Hi,
I recently broke my boom and have had it replaced under insurance - being in New Zealand a custom replacement has been made.
I should have taken a photo before hand but didn't, I'm unsure that a couple of the things the rigging place will be adequate and I can't remember what was on there before.

I recently broke my boom and have had it replaced under insurance - being in New Zealand a custom replacement has been made.
I should have taken a photo before hand but didn't, I'm unsure that a couple of the things the rigging place will be adequate and I can't remember what was on there before.
The set up is:
- The main sheet is attached mid boom going to the traveller in forward of the spray dodger and back to the cockpit via front end of the boom and foot of the mast
- First reefing line goes through the boom and back to cockpit via front end of the boom and foot of the mast
- Outhaul though boom and back to a cleat on the boom.
Concerns:
- With the outhaul going though boom then attaching to a cleat on the boom – I am concerned I won’t be able to get enough tension on the back of the sail with this setup. (although I must admit I havn't touched it in the few months of owning the boat)
- On the Main sheet the pulley closest to the mast they have attached with cord rather than a riveted u bracket. – how are other peoples 29.5’s set up – particularly interested how this fits in with the outhaul cleat.
