Hunter 28 Gennaker

I am considering a Gennaker for my28 Hunter. Any advise as to where to buy one and any pros or cons on the Gennaker? I do have an extra Halyard, so I think I may be set. Thanks in advance for any replies.Cemwenthead

As long as the halyard is a spinnaker halyard your set. If it's a genoa/jib halyard you should not use it. The reason, chafe on the halyard at the masthead will be very hard to see. Any time you jibe that chafe will start. Spinnaker halyards exit the mast above the forestay not below.But yes indeed go for it. They are soooo easy to fly and make such a difference off the wind.

Look at Sailnet.com, the sail store...

I have a H33.5 and bought my A sail on line at sailnet.com, click on the sail loft and then your model boat to see prices. All very efficient.
