I am considering buying a hunter 270 or 260. The sellers spec sheet shows it as a 260 but the boat it self is not water ballasted and has an inboard desiel. This means its a 270 right? Also the guy is asking 28,000 for it. It is in absolutly perfect condition as far as appearence goes. I cant tell but I think it is also excellent condition as far as rigging and other mechanical aspects of the boat. I have a few questions though for any owners of this boat. first is the engine cooled buya heat exchanger or with a conventional radiator? Also any one trailor it? Hows it handel on a trailor? Is the pointing ability good? How does it handle rough weather? On this particular boat the sellers spec sheet says motor is not set to charge the batteries but it does have an alternator, so is it easy to set the motor to charge the batteries. Also I think the sellers spec sheet might be wrong because don't the batteries start the motor? Anyway if there is anything else you think of that is notewrthy about the boat please tell me.
