Hello Fellow Cherubini H27 owners.I know many of us have been desperately searching for info on the old Renault Couach RC8D (and RC12D) engines. Yesterday, while searching for info on this engine, I stumbled across a website for the BMW D7 and D12 engines. The site is: http://wavelength30.tripod.com/BMWD7.htmThis site has free downloads, in ENGLISH, of owners manuals, parts manuals and workshop manuals for these BMW engines, which appear to be EXACTLY the same as the Renault counterparts. I'm not sure of the history between BMW and Renault, but the BMW engines appear to be of a vintage following Renault's withdrawal from the diesel/marine business in 1979. In any event, I suggest you all go to this site and download this invaluable info. In the meantime, I'm heading off to remove the thermostat from my RC8D to determine if that's where my cooling problems are coming from.Another excellet source for RC8D parts is: www.renaultcouach.com. Tony runs this site from the UK, and I've had excellent luck getting common and not so common parts from him. Finally, I have a pdf version of the original RC8D manual in ENGLISH (and French). IF anyone's interested in a copy, shoot me an email at bpwallace@comcast.net and I'll be happy to send it.Happy Passages to allPete WallaceSans Souci
