Does anyone have any info on a good replacement for the Gray molded portlights on a Hunter 260 (2001)?

are you sure that they are Gray ports?

Lindsay:

Are you sure that they are Gray portlights? The Beckson are very similar.

They have the Gray's on this website.

I believe they are the Gray 715-AD

They have a Black frame with tinted glass and the base outside diameter is 9-5/8 x 17-3/4. I don't want to replace them with the same windows , I was hoping someone knew of a better window that they had success replacing them with.

Ports

Looked at the Ports on my 2003 H260 and there is a sticker as follows:

Grey by Pompanette
PH: (603) 826-5794
So. W. St.
P.O. Box W
Charleston, WH 03603

The Pompanette Website has some slightly different info:

Corporate Office: Pompanette LLC. PO Box 1200, Charlestown, New Hampshire, USA 03603, Tel: (603) 826-5791, Fax: (603) 826-4125

Why not give them a call?

Portlght replacement Hunter 260

Thanks George and Steve

I called Pompanette and was redirected to a Mr Johanski (920-822-8162)and was able to get alot of info on the original portlights (eg: cutout size 7 9/16" x 15 1/2"). I am now considering going with the PW715 7x15 TriMatrix portlight from NEW FOUND METALS, INC. for $109.95. According to their tech staff (888- 437-5512) it should be a easy replacement with little modifications to the existing hull openings.

Portlight for H260

Can you tell us a little more about your problem? Why do you want to change the ports? Your boat is fairly new and this is the first I've heard of a failure.

I had problems also

Hi

I have a 2002 260 and have trouble with my port lights. The one in the head failed and I had to seal it shut. Please let me know what you do. You may write me at early1950@comcast.net.

The screw downs on this light just all failed and broke off. They have never been abused and the boat is in fresh water. I have never had this happen on anh prior baots.

Please stay in touch!!! Thank you very much.
