While caulking the centerboard bolt that attaches my Hunter 260 centerboard to the hull, I noted that the bolt was not seated to the top of the medal plate that is attached to the mast support post. I attempted to seat the bolt by using a ratchet wrench to tighten down the bolt. To my surprise, the bolt head would not tighten down to the metal plate of the mast support post. I suspect I have the wrong length bolt for the centerboard retaining bracket. I know the stainless steel bolt is a 3/4" bolt but I do not know the length or the thread size of the bolt. Does anyone know the correct size, length, and thread size for the Hunter 260 centerboard bolt? Thanks.
