On my 1999 H-260, I found the end of the wire conduit by the mast support post with a pull cord, but can't find the end by the switch panel. I had planned on mounting a VHF radio just aft of the support post and need to get power to it. Anyone know where the other end of the conduit is????????

Check the area behind the stanchion mount access plate above the galley just aft of the cabinet. It terminates there and you'll have to snake your wires from there to the breaker panel. Steve

My wire conduit was unusable
One end was easily accessed under the mast base, but the other end wasn't near the stanchion mount - it was up in the headliner near the companionway and it had somehow been crushed during assembly with the deck. I had to use a wire fish - or wire puller - that I've used to pull wire and cable through house walls. I fed it in through the access above the galley while my partner stood under the mast access guiding me. Good luck! MikeH

Conduit to Electrical Panel
I did this on my 2005 H260 last week. I used a tool called RotoZip and cut into the raised portion of the headliner where it goes from horizontal to vertical inside the cabinet in the galley. The conduit runs inside this raised portion and ends right about the stanchion. Once I cut into it and pulled the wires using the line provided, I brought the wires out and ran them inside the liner to the panel area. I needed a straightened coathanger wire to fish the wires. This description probably isn't the best, but I have to emphasize the need to cut into the area where the conduit runs to access the line inside for pulling the wire. The most inconspicuous place is in the cabinet. The conduit is built in, and covered with resin.

Yep thats exactly where it is.
The condut on my 260 ends hard up against the inside of the hull wall where the rear stauchion is bolted on. It does take a bit of finding but it is there.
