I am refurbishing my hunter 26 in the last storms the boat took water in the galley. so the wood(or imitation wood) lifted. I need to replace this . SO the question is how, whre to get the material and any other good suggestion. After this I will work on some blister in the floor gelcoat. Thanks ChuckP

HOW TO REMOVED

my worries is that this floor is not a thick wood . I have part already lifted, but I have not dig in it yet. Kind of afraid I blow anything. now How you hold it in place ? There have to be a sealer to hold it down and aropund the edges? I am hnady working on airplanes not so in Boats. ChuckP

The wood is probably 1/4 " marine plywood with a very thin veneer of teak/holly. If you don't think you can get the old floor up in one piece (or large pieces), make a template out of cardboard. The floor on my H33C had bungs but no screws and was just glued on. For the new floor, seal the bottom and edges with penetrating epoxy. You might need something heavy to hold down the floor. Mine was curved in some areas so I used cinder blocks to hold it down. Make sure you put towels or something down to protect the wood.

Call Hunter

they can sell you the floor, already cut and probably tell you how to glue it down. You don't say what model 26, for some of the older boats they don't have patterns but give them a call/email.
