Hunter 26/260 Deck Cored?

What parts of the Hunter 26/260 are cored and what is it cored with? Also, it looks as if lots of the deck hardware (stancions, cleats) isn't thru bolted. It is hard to replace the hardware? What happens if it pulls through? I did notice that several areas (like where the rope clutches go) have access panels.

Plywood coring & alum backing plates

Alan: Most of the Hunters have been mfg with plywood coring in cabin & deck areas. The areas where hardware is designed to be mounted have machine screws into aluminum backing plates. If there is not a backing plate you would need to thru bolt the hardware.

My '94 h26...

... has plywood coring on the deck (I drilled a hole for a pump-out) and aluminum backing plates laminated into the fiberglass where needed as mentioned. There is definately structural foam in some areas too. alan
