Hunter 240 water in hull's bow compartment

I was surprised to find water behind a thin plastered wood wall inside the forward compartment of the bow of my Hunter 240. The plastered wood is rotting and water is beginning to leak into the storage compartment. There doesn't appear to be a leak from the outside of the boat but it is in a slip, so cannot see the bottom until I pull the boat out. Any ideas where the water may be coming from, as well as appropriate repair to make?

My guess would be the anchor locker drain. Check at the hose to thru hull connection. Some have reported cracked plastic thru hull stubs for the hose. Good Luck.
