Hunter 240 Pre-Wired for Compass Light?

My Hunter 240 owner's manual indicates that the boat comes pre-wired for a compass light (port side on bulkhead next to cabin entry). I removed the access panels in the cabin but didn't see any wire in there. Does anyone know if the 240 indeed is pre-wired for a compass light? Thanks.
