Hunter 240 in aus

Hi


I was just wondering if anyone currently sails a hunter 240 in Australia? If so do they have a handicap or yardstick (CBH) in which they race under? Or does anyone know if it is possible to convert from the USA system to the Aus?

You might want to see where there are any Hunter 260 owners in Aus. and ask them how they got a PHRF rating. I know of two that I shipped to Australia but those records have been destroyed as I am out of business.

The hunter 260 has an australian CBH listed but in order to get one for the 240 you have to pay about $2000. The Catalina 25 has an Aus CBH & I was trying to race under that handicap, but have had some resistance. What are your thoughts? My understanding is that the Catalina 25 is quicker. Are there any other boats of similar speed, that you can think of that I might be able to compare?
