I just bought a '85 Hunter 23. The 5 gal. holding tank under the lazarette is missing. I also cannot find the hose that connect the tank/water to the hand operated pump/faucet mounted on the sliding sink in the cabin. Any suggestions on the proper holding tank and hose to connect the two from someone who knows the Hunter 23? Thanks

I believe it was a collapsible plastic tank that you can purchase from an outdoor equipment or camping equipment that was attached. I am not sure if the store site sells them but if so, purchase one. Suggest in the future to post in smaller boats section of the Hunter forum for more responses.,
Mine came with a hard plastic jug, not collapsible, though this may not have been the factory configuration. I would think that any clear flexible hose of the right inside diameter to fit the faucet barb would work, and any jug that can fit in the lazarette and that you can route the hose into, through the cap, would also be fine.
Yes, we went to a RV store yesterday and they suggested the same solution. However it is good to hear from a Hunter 23 owner. Thanks! We have sized up the space and will look for a water container that fits and will drill a hole in the cap the size of the tubing we use to connect to the pump/faucet on the bottom of the sink. Thanks again
