I have water leak only during high wind sailing (boat healing > 30) comming possibly from leaky rub rail. How hard is it to remove, recaulk or replace rub rail on Hunter 23, please advice. Thanks!!!
The only person I've been able to find who did this was Mark Major. He owns a 23. He did extensive renovation on his 23 including repairing his rub rail where water was intruding. He found that they had not sealed over his gunwhale screws or something like that. Look in the Hunter 23 photo sections for his work. Maybe you could PM him for more help. I'd like it if he could post here though so it would be "out there" for everyone else to take a look-see. Good Luck!
