Hunter 23.5 mast

I recently broke my mast in two. I have a 1997 Hunter 23.5 Trailerable boat with the adjustable keel. Where can I get another mast? I was told by Hunter US Spars and Z-Spars made all the masts for the 23.5's. Suggestions anyone. A new mast is cost prohibitive at this point.

Try a local boat yard to see if someone can be found that could repair a mast. Depending at what point it broke and the type of break it could perhaps be repaired. If you post some photos perhaps someone can tell you what would be the likelyhood of it being fixable.

So often I hear to repair a mast when broken by sleeving it or welding. I willl stand behind what I say on the 23.5 mast. When it is broken, replace it as the structural integrity of that mast has been jeoparidized. Do not be a fool. I am the expert on this boat.

Did you have insurance and if so, will it cover it?
