In the cockpit, on bottom of the seat/storage locker, in front, there is an area where the lid contacts the bottom. The lid is wider at this point for strength and has the fiberglass molded around some exposed wood that is rotting. Any thoughts on how to fill the void once I remove the bad wood?

Hi Dave, I have this same issue. It's on my very long list of things to fix.

Dremel out wood carefully and reclassify area using small pieces of fiberglass to fill in but do a little at a time. Use a small chip cheap brush emerged in acetone to work out bubbles and to smooth out. When all done and sanded down, fill in voids and smooth out with epoxy. Get a color chart for Krylon plastic paint matching close enough to spray. Mask off area where spraying. You will never see it with seat down

Sounds like a good plan. Thanks Dave, you've helped me and I'm sure many others in the past.
