Hunter 23.5 fwd hatch

How do you 23.5 owners keep your fwd hatch open? Mine doesnt have a prop or anything.

When I got it, the hatch had an adjusting arm that you could tighten to hold the hatch open. The kids always open the hatch all the way separating the two rods. I just open the thing all the way and let it rest on the rubber bumper that's on the deck. On the rare occasion that I want it partially open I put the rods back together and tighten it.

Hmmmm, I guess mine doesnt have the arms on it. I guess I can make a rod that will work.

Here's what I have on my H23. Don't know what everything's called, but there's a wing nut type deal that you use to tighten and loosen the 2 pieces. Works pretty good, really.

p.s. The smiling faces didn't come with the boat. I had to add them myself.

Yeah mine doesnt have that. It doesnt look like one was ever there either. I will try and make something. It looks like the family was enjoying themselves.
