Hunter 22 2012 model bilge water

I have a few inches of rainwater in my bilge (I'm a new owner) that the bilge pump won't pump out. It seems that if I can leave in on my trailer and keep the bow down, most of the water will pump out, but not all. On larger boats I've always added bilge cleaner/deodorant. Do I need to do this on the 22 as well? Probable so. Thanks!

I would use a sponge to get all the water out. That way you don't need to worry about masking the smell.

Determine how the rain water is getting into the bilge and seal / rebed the hardware to eliminate the issue.
