Hunter 216 rudder blade

The rudder blade I have needs a little attention (winter project) as there are some nicks on leading and trailing edges from previous owners and a large previous repair on the tip where the blade obviously grounded. After repair I would like to paint it.
My question stems from the fact that I’m not positive if the blade is normal fibreglass construction (which I’m very familiar with) or ACP layup.
Can anyone clarify which of these methods was used in the 2004 model year?
If it’s ACP can I just use the repair tube material found in the Hunter store as the flaws are not structural?
What white paint should I use on the blade and could I use the same paint to touch up a few blemishes on the hull?

Its fiberglass. Easy way to tell is sand it. The ACP doesnt have much smell to it. Gelcoat has a distinctive smell, like pot, weedkiller in home depot. Gelcoat is different.

Thank you again for your wisdom. Just curious but do you know if Hunter fabricated these in house or outsourced? Pretty chunky construction so must be lots of layers of glass.

I little off topic but is it possible for me to use the FAQ area to consolidate all of the 216 info I'm finding?

Dave:
During my "search the forums" efforts on different topics related to the 216 I found I was looking in both Daysailor and Small Boat, and found myself reading a lot of stuff about other models. Interesting but not really time effective for the established task :> I wondered if there was an area that I overlooked where just the 216 related posts were stored so I could quickly look something up and I couldn't find it, hence my idea of using the FAQ area.

I just looked at the Boat Info / 216 area again per your suggestion and it would seem the only "topic" area I could use is Owners Mods and although it would be the logical place to look for boat specific info any "new" content would need to be copy and pasted manually. The FAQ area seems to have the ability for anyone to "add links to forum posts" so I would assume the content of the FAQ would dynamically stay in sync with any new content posted in the already linked user forums. The downside is that is not intuitively the area where someone new would look for boat specific info.

I don't wish to upset the moderator or disturb the flow of the site as it's been an incredibly useful resource. You are obviously a leader here so would adhere to your guidance.
Thanks
