Hello we recently bought a 2001 Hunter 212. the boat originated in NJ went to Western NY where we found it. It is in good shape except for the standard top deck cracks. We have fixed these cracks as stated in the manual. The issue we have is that there is a lot of water in the foam so we used an air hose and blew out these cracks. No problem except one time the air nozzle was held too close to the whole and we heard a LARGE pop. This happened in the cockpit area. It made one crack bigger and now I noticed that it seam the floor is acting like it is no longer bonded to the foam, ie it seems to be spongy not wet just loose from the foam. OR in simple terms i think it has debonded. Can we repair this by injecting an epoxy or x into new drilled holes in this area then using screws in a temp fashion to hold the foam to the skin to bond it. Or is there another method or is it okay to use as is?
