Hunter 18.5 mainsail batten lengths

I recently bought a 1988 Hunter 18.5, it is missing a couple of the battens for the mainsail. Would anyone know the lengths of each batten?

Also, if anyone has knowledge they would like to share on the boat I am all ears!

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your new sailboat.

Determine the batten shape and purchase a couple longer than you need, lay the mainsail out, measure the length you need, cut them to fit and install a cap. Sources for battens and end caps are Sailrite Sail Hardware: Battens & End Clips (sailrite.com) or a windsurfing shop.

When dealing with a batten, I look to the sail and measure the pocket. Then I order the batten.

If you feel uncomfortable with that you could take it to a loft. Have them check the sail and make any repairs, then install the correct battens.

WM usually has generic battens that you can cut/trim to fit your sail. So would a sail loft.
