Hunter 15 Spinnaker

Has anyone put a spinnaker on a Hunter 15 I frequently am in light winds so downwind leg could use help. Also, has anyone upsized the Jib?

Haven't done a spinnaker but did make up a whisker pole to use with the OEM jib downwind. It worked a treat! One day I caught up and overtook a 30 foot sloop in light winds.

beats the heck out of using an oar to hold jib out downwind

Sure does!!! Even gybing by a relatively inexperienced fore deckhand was pretty easy. The trick is to get the length of the whisker pole correct. It must be the length of the foot of your jib.
