Most of you guys live in areas where mold and mildew are probably not a problem but here in Florida, and especially this summer, humidity seems off the charts. Mold and mildew love our summer environment. In past summers an oscilating fan running all the time seemed to work. It has failed miserably inside my 26c which, although stored in my enclosed barn, has managed to grow its share of mildew. I bought a Soleus 30 pint dehumidifier on eBay, taped the wheels to keep them from rolling, set it on the cutting board of the stove, ran a hose from it to the sink, and set it on 35% humidity. It is 90% in my barn! It has kept the inside of my boat bone dry, maintaining that 35% setting and draining gallons of water a month into the collapsible bladder that came on the boat. Finally found a use for that and am mildew free.
