On a freshly waxed (paste wax), smooth fiberglass hull, will water (rain water, hose water, etc) sheet off or bead up into droplets? I really don't think my marina did what they said they did, but at this point, I'll give the benefit of the doubt.

I use Dolphinite T-Wax which is a pure liquid wax- no cleaners. My topsides will bead for the next couple of months. If you are unsure if the marina performed the work, why don't you apply some of the same wax to your cockpit and then see if it performs the same way?

Compound & Wax
My marina compounds the hull and wax ,they don't use any combonation cleaners. They compound to remove any oxidation and than apply a paste wax and it always looks real good but don't remember seeing beading on the sides just very shinny and looking real good. I do the top side with west marine teflon wax,with at least two coats,one before launch and than another later and never touch the hull except for wash with light soap. nick

Non skid too????
The hull sides of my 85 28.5 shine like brand new, but I am having major issues with the top deck and cockpit areas. What do you recommend for the topsides. What do you do with the non-skid areas?

Deck Bright
Rich: I use Dolphinite Deck Bright on my '85 28.5 and it comes up great. All you do is squirt it on, brush it out and hose it off. Comes up like a diamond. By the way, do you happen to have a manual on the boat-been looking but i can't find. Would pay for copy and mail costs. Joe
