Decisions. decisions...
Feejer - haven't you decided yet??? ;-)Seems like it boils down to 2 differences for your $3000.-Extra storage up front with the 170.-Ability to put up a spinnaker - it's an option on the 170. For the 146, you would have to do a little bit of work and spend a little bit of money - no spreaders means not the right rigging for a chute. When I flipped the 146 a few days ago, made me realize that I really don't want to be carrying too much up front anyway!I just took her out of the water today, or I would say stop by Danbury on your way to Old Lyme for the factory tour, and sail the 146.I'm still happy with mine - I like the light weight for trailering. Easy to move around on the trailer, both to position it right once out of the water, and then to place it right where you need it once parking it. The 2 of us can move the trailer with the 146 on it up the slight grade to its winter home in our backyard.Good luck to you!
