Hull serial number?

Does anyone know where to find the hull serial number (BEY###) on a Beneteau? I have a 36CC 1998 or 1999. I've been told that it should be engraved on the stern somewhere. But no luck finding it.

I have conflicting information about my serial number. The owner's manual says it's a 1999 but on the official paper work (title, etc..), it's indicated as a 1998.

Would love the resolve this for insurance purposes.

Check on the starboard side just forward of the stern.

Model year and manafacture date are two different things. I have the same issue on a O361.

I found 3 numbers that partially correspond to the hull number port side forward of the stern. It's all i got. I will contact beneteau. Thanks everyone.

I don't know about the US versions but the French versions of Beneteau Oceanis 361 have a number on the port side (like the one you have noticed) and the full number on the starboard site (same place but have a really good look).
Something like FR-BEY*****A202 (for a 2002 model built in January 2002).

I did not noticed anything on the starboard side but i will look closer when i go back to the boat. thanks

My 323 has the number under the front edge of the companionway steps, in the floor moulding.

I'm about to take delivery on a 1999 Oceanis 352. The HIN is on the starboard side immediately in front of the stern.

Format is BEYTTWWWXYZZ

TT = model number
WWW = hull number
X = build month (A = January thru L = December)
Y = build year
ZZ = model year

A `99 Beneteau Oceanis 352, hull 262, built in December 1998 would have a HIN of BEY74262L899
